DuoPop Users Guide.


  • Remove lid
  • Unplug microphones and remove inner battery box
  • Insert 9V battery using correct orientation
  • Ensure the central output lead is passing through the hole in the outer shell
  • Plug the microphones back into the microphone connector leads
  • Replace the battery box to its original position
  • Replace the lid (optional) the output lead may now be plugged into your camera or sound recorder
  • Remove the 9V battery between recording sessions

Using the Microphones Outside of the Silicone Ears. 

  • Carefully push each microphone into the ear (push on the outer rim of the microphone capsule) until it becomes free inside the shell
  • Do not pull them through from the inside
  • Remove the battery box, ensuring the output lead is free to move through the hole in the shell
  • Plug the output lead into your sound recorder or camera
  • Insert 9V battery using correct orientation

Taking Care of Your DuoPop

  • Remove battery between uses to conserve battery life
  • Clean outer shell with a damp cloth and mild detergents, if necessary
  • Do not submerge any of the unit in any liquid (the ears may be removed from the shell and submerged in water for cleaning, if necessary)
  • Do not leave in direct sunlight for prolonged periods
  • Do not expose to temperatures over 50°C /120°F
